Lingley Mere, Warrington (Hybrid Working)

Permanent | Full Time | 37 Hours Per Week

At United Utilities, we're delivering one of the largest and most ambitious capital investment programmes in the UK, investing in the future of water, wastewater and environmental improvement across the North West.

As part of this transformation, we're looking for a Telemetry Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring our operational technology, telemetry and control systems are ready to support the successful delivery and handover of new assets.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in telemetry, SCADA, commissioning, operational handover or technical project coordination who wants to work at the centre of major infrastructure projects that make a real difference to millions of customers and the environment.

Why This Role Matters

Telemetry is fundamental to the safe and efficient operation of our water and wastewater networks.

As a Telemetry Coordinator, you'll ensure telemetry systems are planned, tracked, tested and accepted in line with programme requirements, enabling successful commissioning and operational takeover of critical assets.

Acting as the link between project teams, operational teams, commissioning specialists and technical stakeholders, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and on time.

This is a planning, assurance and coordination role with significant visibility across our Capital Delivery Programme and the opportunity to influence outcomes on some of the most important projects in the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Coordinating Telemetry Delivery

  • Coordinate a portfolio of telemetry projects across our Water, Wastewater or Better Rivers programmes.
  • Ensure telemetry activities are planned and delivered in line with the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Track key milestones, deliverables and programme commitments.
  • Ensure the telemetry delivery process is followed consistently across all projects.

Driving Collaboration Across Teams

  • Act as the key point of contact between project delivery teams, Operational Technology teams, Commissioning teams, Integrated Control Centre (ICC) and Operations.
  • Coordinate stakeholders to ensure telemetry requirements are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple teams and delivery partners.
  • Build strong relationships to support successful project outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
