Telephone Business Development Manager - Chetwood Bank
We’re a UK-based digital bank dedicated to delivering core banking principles with simplicity and clarity in savings and mortgage offerings.
About the Role
As a Telephone Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving mortgage lending growth by fostering and maintaining relationships with broker and distributor partners across your designated territory. Reporting closely to the Field-Based Business Development Manager, your role will focus on proactive outreach, nurturing intermediary partnerships, and leading awareness of the bank’s product propositions to unlock new business pipelines.
Responsibilities

Deliver agreed lending and activity targets through proactive telephone-based relationship management and strategic support to broker/distributor partners.

Develop and grow intermediary relationships by identifying opportunities to elevate market reach, boost business volume, and enhance territory performance.

Identify and onboard new broker partnerships to expand and fortify the bank’s distribution network.

Promote the bank’s products, propositions, and brand through consistent engagement with intermediaries, including industry events, meetings, and targeted roadshows.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share market insights, contribute to product development strategies, and support alignment with broader business objectives.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Advantageous: Previous experience in mortgage-related sales or account management roles.
- Essential: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Advantageous: Intermediate understanding of mortgage market products and regulatory frameworks.
- Desirable: Intermediate awareness of mortgage distribution channels.
