Job Description

Knowledge Nest Ltd is a company based in east London. We pride ourselves in providing a personal and fun approach to educational support in English, Mathematics, Science, and Eleven Plus.

Run by our dedicated team of subject specialist tutors, we help to build confident and independent learners who achieve academic success. Working as part of a fast-growing company, your role would be the Office Manager. This role would suit a driven individual who has great business acumen and a keen interest in the education sector. Your main goal would be to organise, develop, and grow the business while ensuring all of the business operations are running smoothly.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage the overall business development and growth activity.
  • Coordinate with relevant people within the business and clients in line with company strategy.
  • Ensure that enrolment numbers meet set monthly targets.
  • Ensure effective management of daily operations.
  • Work alongside the senior management team and colleagues to ensure the office paperwork is well organised.
  • Booking marketing events and devising strategies to bring new clients into the centre.
  • Monitor quality of service and retention rates.
  • Liaising with recruitment channels, preparing necessary paperwork for holding meetings, interviews, etc.
  • Be responsible for initial consultations with clients and achieving sales.
  • Provide detailed, clear information to prospective clients.
  • Ordering and organisation of office supplies, couriers, and equipment when necessary, alongside staff health and safety programs, and other matters enabling smooth day-to-day office operations.
  • Answering the phone, greeting visitors, and organising lunch for internal and external meetings when necessary.
  • Organise and audit company systems, databases, and procedures.
  • In charge of correspondence with suppliers (e.g., cleaners and energy providers) and ensure we are getting the best deals from our providers, being constantly on the lookout for good offers in the market (e.g., phones).
  • Promote company policies and liaise with the team & IT when they need support and coordinate on any equipment needed.
  • Assisting with the organisation of company events and meetings.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the team when needed.
