We're working with a well-established media business to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor on an immediate-start contract to provide short-term sickness cover. This is a hands-on role leading a busy AP function, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running with strong NetSuite experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the AP team, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescales
- Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies and supplier payment terms
- Act as the first point of contact for AP-related queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Maintain the AP ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up to date
- Manage month-end AP activities, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
- Work closely with Procurement and Operations to resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies

Requirements:
- Previous experience within Accounts Payable, including experience supervising or leading an AP team
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite is essential
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle would be advantageous
- Experience within a media, production or creative business is desirable
