Description
EP Langage Power Station is seeking a Temporary Administrator for a period of 12 months.
The jobholder will be responsible for providing efficient clerical and administrative support services for the power station.
The role requires the ability to prioritize workload effectively and carry out all duties with minimal supervision, ensuring that all target deadlines are met.
The jobholder will need to respond and adapt to a variety of situations within a busy office environment, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. The ability to use initiative and proactively manage their own workload is essential.
Strong communication skills and a high degree of personal integrity are required. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive data and documentation filing systems, both manual and computer-based. This includes accurate data input and the efficient retrieval of documentation to ensure information is readily available when required.

This is a site-based role, working 37 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administration services including travel arrangements, accommodation, organization of meetings, preparation of agendas, and recording of minutes to support senior staff to undertake their roles.
- Use the SAP system competently and accurately, to include service entry sheets, goods receipts, and purchase orders as a minimum. Provide support and guidance in the proper use of SAP to other members of the team.
- Provide support to the stores coordinator, including short-term cover when required.
- Provide efficient correspondence and document management services, administering document retention in the company filing systems, management of designated mailboxes, and incoming/outgoing post.
- Administer training programmes, covering the preparation of the programme from information supplied, arrangement of training, and administration of training records and files to support staff in meeting training needs.
- Monitor and maintain office consumables and equipment (stationary, beverages, etc).
- Organize functions and staff events.
- Administration of personnel records, including staff holiday and overtime records within site systems.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Background
- Demonstrable experience of office practices and procedures – essential.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP (purchase orders, service entry, goods receipting) – desirable.
Behaviours
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach to work – essential.
- Excellent prioritisation skills – essential.
- High degree of personal integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality – essential.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications – essential.
Qualifications
- GCSE level 4 / grade C in Maths and English – essential.
- Secretarial qualification (i.e. RSA I) – desirable.
