Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (8-10 Weeks)
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Temporary Corporate Receptionist Needed - Glasgow City Centre
Office Angels Glasgow is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for a Temporary Corporate Receptionist to join their busy and professional team for an 8-10-week assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist with a strong customer-service focus to work within a respected professional environment. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming experience while providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
If you have previous experience working within a corporate reception, front-of-house, or legal setting and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to all clients and visitors.
- Managing incoming calls and emails, responding to enquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
- Supporting multiple departments with administrative tasks and client-related requests.
- Processing client payments over the phone and online.
- Maintaining a tidy, organised, and professional reception area.
- Carrying out general administration duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
- Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring all equipment is fully operational.
- Delivering an exceptional client experience from initial contact through to completion.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within a busy corporate reception, front-of-house, or legal receptionist role.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- A personable, polished, and client-focused approach.
- Previous experience within a legal environment and an understanding of legal terminology would be highly advantageous.
- A proactive team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and clients alike.
