Your responsibilities as Temporary Credit Controller

  • Manage a busy sales ledger, ensuring outstanding balances are collected promptly.
  • Chase overdue payments by telephone and email across trade, retail, and international accounts.
  • Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts, credit notes, and returns.
  • Investigate invoice queries, disputes, and claims to achieve timely resolution.
  • Build effective working relationships with key customers and distribution partners.
  • Support month-end reporting and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.

What we're looking for in a Temporary Credit Controller

  • Previous credit control experience within a high-volume B2B environment.
  • Strong account reconciliation skills and confident Excel capability.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.
  • Exposure to multi-currency accounts would be advantageous.
  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
