Who are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible people with experience in handsew who can join us on a temporary basis at our site in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious fashion manufacturer initially on a flexible basis; but a chance of extension or permanent employment is available for people who perform well.
This role is perfect for those with some experience—or natural ability—in hand sewing luxury garments. We’re seeking individuals who are passionate, committed, and eager to thrive in a fast-evolving environment. What will you be doing?
- Work on garments and/or bundles in accordance with instructions
- Handsew neck trims and pocket tops onto garments
- Handsew garments and attach accessories as instructed
- Handsew specific elements of garments to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Commit fully to the training process and work well with our onsite trainer
- Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are understood and adhered to

What will you bring to the role?
- Hand sew experience in a similar garment manufacturing role
- Hand sewing ability and knowledge of sewing techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Patient and considerate of those around you
