An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join a growing organisation on an urgent temporary basis. This role offers the chance to work across a broad range of HR activities, supporting the business through a period of significant growth and change.
This is a temporary role lasting around 3 months, with the potential for extension, and offers excellent flexibility around both working hours and location.
The Role
Working as part of a busy HR team, you will provide hands-on support across a wide range of employee relations and HR projects, including:
- Managing a high volume of employee relations casework
- Advising managers on UK employment law and HR best practice
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management processes
- Assisting with organisational change and business growth initiatives
- Supporting a large-scale TUPE programme involving multiple business acquisitions
- Reviewing and contributing to absence management projects and processes
- Building strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering exposure to both operational HR and project-based work.
About You
- Previous experience working as a HR Generalist, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident managing a high volume of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
- Experience supporting organisational change projects would be advantageous
- TUPE experience is desirable but not essential
- Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment with plenty of variety and autonomy

Hours & Flexibility
The business offers a highly flexible approach to working hours and location. Typical working patterns could include:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 8:30am – 4:30pm
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
Lunch breaks can be taken to suit your preference, whether that's 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour.
There is also significant flexibility around home working, with employees welcome to work from home as much as required.

Salary: £38,000-£40,000 FTE
