Temporary Legal PA

PA to Partners – Nottingham City Centre (Hybrid, Full-time, Temporary, 35 hours per week)

About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Legal PA to join a renewed, modern, and progressive law firm based in Nottingham City Centre.

This is an immediate temporary role (3 months), hybrid, offering £15–£16 per hour.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively support clients and contacts, dealing with basic client queries
  • Manage document production, occasionally checking for accuracy and formatting
  • Take and make client-related calls and handle messages
  • Liaise with internal teams to assist in scheduling meetings, interviews, and client training
  • Oversee file opening and closing
  • Monitor key client dates and ensure updates in compliance procedures
  • Assist in organising internal and external events
  • Manage diaries, travel/accommodation bookings, meeting rooms, and prepare agendas and papers
  • Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Liaise with internal teams and collect relevant information
  • Arrange photocopying, printing, couriers, outgoing letters, and faxes
  • Process instructions via digital dictation
  • Help with billing for team files

Requirements

  • Previous PA experience, ideally within legal or professional services
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
