Temporary Logistics Operator
Goods Inwards Operator
Main Responsibilities:
Role-Specific Duties:
- Off-loading vehicles at the relevant unloading door.
- Ensuring vehicles are unloaded in a timely manner.
- Inspecting goods upon arrival to confirm they are in good condition.
- Verifying documentation to ensure details and quantities are accurate.
- Checking the due list to prepare for incoming deliveries.
- Organising and filing documentation neatly.
- Booking deliveries into SAP and ensuring accurate transactions.
- Moving goods both physically (Kan Ban) and through SAP to reflect location changes.
- Monitoring FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation for all materials.
- Conducting cycle counting (following a rota issued by the Materials Manager).
- Daily inventory checks (OM) and reporting new orders to the Materials Manager.
- Covering roles during team absences.
Waste Management & Administration:
- Controlling weighbridge tickets for waste documentation.
- Handling month-end stock activities.
- Adhering to departmental manager-issued ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements
Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous experience in a Goods Inwards Department is essential.
- Familiarity with SAP and basic inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Applications.
Attitude & Skills:
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records and transactions.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to Handle multiple tasks flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
