Talentedge are actively recruiting for a 6-month Payroll and Commissions Administrator in a growing Tech business based in Central London.

About the Role

The Payroll & Commissions Administrator will play a critical role in the administration, validation, and processing of global payroll inputs and sales commission calculations. Working closely with Finance, HR, People Operations, Sales Operations, and external payroll providers, you will ensure the integrity of payroll and commission data while supporting a growing international workforce.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively across different regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Global Payroll Administration

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs across multiple countries through third-party payroll providers.
  • Process payroll changes including new starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and statutory payments.
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy and completeness before approval and processing.
  • Support payroll reconciliations and month-end activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.
  • Resolve payroll queries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity.
  • Support annual payroll activities including year-end reporting and audits.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with internal controls and local employment regulations.

Sales Commissions Administration

  • Administer monthly and quarterly sales commission calculations for global sales teams.
  • Validate sales performance data and commission inputs.
  • Prepare commission reports and payment schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies and payment queries.
  • Process commission adjustments, clawbacks, plan changes, and exception payments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Finance teams to ensure the accuracy of commission calculations.
  • Maintain commission tracking files, documentation, and audit records.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce payroll and commission reports for Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with payroll and commission reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing compensation data and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and process efficiency.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in payroll administration and a sales compensation-related role.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes within a multi-country or international environment.
  • Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data reconciliation.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working with confidential employee compensation data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.

Desirable

  • Experience within a cybersecurity, SaaS, technology, or high-growth multinational organisation.
  • Experience administering sales commission or incentive compensation plans.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Dayforce, or similar platforms.
  • Experience using Salesforce, NetSuite, or other business systems.
  • Understanding of UK payroll legislation and global payroll processes.
  • MUST be available on a short notice period.
