What to Expect
We’re seeking ambitious, forward-thinking team members to join us in Dumfries, working across full-time shifts with opportunities for both temporary and permanent roles. A £850 hiring bonus may apply (subject to criteria).
Reporting to:
- Shift Coordinators
- Production Manager
Your Role: Support the manufacturing and warehousing of quality products while aligning with Standard Working Practices. Key responsibilities include contributing to daily production targets and upholding safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Essential Responsibilities
- Operating equipment and processes strictly per Standard Working Practices and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
- Maintaining clean, organised workspaces during and at the end of shifts.
- Accurately updating Hourly Production Records for transparency.
- Safely reporting hazards, equipment malfunctions, or near-miss incidents.
- Diligently meeting quality and productivity targets as part of a team.
Keys to Success
- Follow Procedures Precisely – Adhere to ** Standard Working Practices** and Operating Procedures for safety and consistency.
- Maintain Systems Cleanliness – Keep your work area tidy, efficient, and safe in real time.
- Be Accurate and Timely – Ensure production data is correct, log updates promptly, and address issues immediately to avoid delays.
- Stay Safety-Focused – Continuously monitor hazards and report any unsafe conditions or near misses without delay.
- Work as a Team Player – Collaborate with colleagues to smoothly meet daily quality targets.
(No supervisory responsibilities for this role.)
Requirements & Preferred Skills
- Experience: Working in a manufacturing environment or shifts is advantageous (not mandatory).
- Manual Dexterity & Numeracy: Strong skills in both areas—critical for precision tasks and data recording.
- Mindset: Collaborative, safety-first, with a focus on maintaining a clean workspace.
