What to expect
We are looking for ambitious, forward-thinking individuals to join our team. Working full-time from our Dumfries facility. We are offering opportunities for temporary Warehouse Operator roles, £850 hiring bonus may apply (subject to criteria).
As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of quality products. Working to established Standard Working Practices and Warehouse Operating Procedures, you’ll help ensure production and customer demands are met safely, accurately, and on time. This hands-on role involves a variety of warehouse duties, including stock replenishment, order picking and packing, goods in/out, and raw material distribution. You’ll receive full training across multiple warehouse functions to support operational flexibility and efficiency.

- Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to customer specifications.
- Replenish stock from production and other plants as required.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Book in raw materials and purchase orders; distribute materials to departments as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as counterbalance and reach trucks, order pickers, and electric pallet lifters (training provided).
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, attendance, adaptability, teamwork, and discipline.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by following all Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
- Report any unsafe practices, equipment issues, or near-miss incidents.
- Maintain good housekeeping—keeping work areas clean, organised, and clear at the end of each shift.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement by submitting safety or efficiency suggestions.

Requirements And Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a warehouse, factory, or shift-based environment is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good manual handling, numeracy, and organisational skills.
- Forklift truck or similar licences (counterbalance, reach, picker, or EPL) are an advantage, though full training will be provided.
