Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. Located in Middlesbrough, with some work-from-home flexibility, the engineer will be responsible for developing and designing temporary works, formworks, and structural engineering solutions. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Assessing project requirements
- Creating detailed designs
- Conducting independent design checks
- Optimizing designs for safety and efficiency
The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications
- Experience in Temporary Works and Temporary Works Design
- Proficiency in Formwork and Structural Engineering
- Strong skills in Design Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with relevant design software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or related field
- Professional accreditation or working towards chartership is a plus
