PURPOSE OF POSITION
As a Tenancy Sustainment Support Worker, you will provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to residents as they prepare to move on from supported accommodation and transition into independent living.
You will work alongside residents before they move into their new home, helping them prepare for the practical, financial and emotional aspects of maintaining a tenancy. - Preventing repeat homelessness: identifying issues early and providing practical interventions to keep tenancies on track.
- Real-world impact: supporting residents to access employment, training, healthcare, benefits and community opportunities.
- Joined-up working: collaborating with Resident Services, Community Partnerships, Housing Management, landlords and external agencies.
- Learning culture: reflective practice and development focused on doing the right thing, the right way.
- A values-led culture: we work as One Team and role model Growth, Inclusion, Collaboration and Compassion.
The role will require regular travel across the community and occasional evening and weekend work in line with service needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
