We’re now looking for a Tender Specialist focused on Safety to play a critical role in securing public and commercial tenders that put Milwaukee Safety products into the hands of those who need them most.

The Role:
As Tender Specialist for Milwaukee, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through the successful development and submission of tenders and bids. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling proposals that reflect Milwaukee’s premium Safety offering, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver high-quality submissions that meet client expectations and deadlines.
This role has a dedicated focus on tenders within Safety, working closely with internal stakeholders to position Milwaukee as a leader in compliant, innovative, and user-focused safety solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of Milwaukee’s Safety product portfolio, including technical specifications, manufacturing processes, certifications, and quality standards, to accurately represent our capabilities in tender documents. Navigate public sector procurement frameworks and ensure all submissions meet the specific requirements of government-issued tenders, including formatting, documentation, and compliance standards. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Technical teams to gather and validate all necessary information for bid submissions, ensuring alignment with Milwaukee’s brand and commercial strategy. Analyse customer requirements and competitor activity to shape winning bid strategies. Emphasize the safety unique selling points such as innovation, durability, compliance, and user safety. Ensure all tenders meet the issuing organization’s compliance criteria, including regulatory and safety standards. Conduct thorough reviews to ensure submissions are professional, accurate, and error free. Lead the end-to-end bid process, managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and ensuring effective communication across departments to meet submission deadlines. Identify potential risks in the bid process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth and successful tender submissions, including contingency planning for last minute changes or challenges. To carry out other ad hoc responsibilities as requested by the Line Manager from time to time.

Skills and experience required:
Proven experience in tender/bid management, ideally within safety equipment, or industrial products Strong understanding of technical documentation and regulatory compliance Experience with large-scale commercial tenders Knowledge of safety standards and safety regulations Excellent project management and organizational skills High attention to detail and quality standards Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines Familiarity with risk management and contingency planning A full UK Driving Licence
