Invitation to Tender | Website Development & Visual Identity Redevelopment
Organisation: Timespan
Location: Hybrid (Helmsdale, Scottish Highlands, with remote working)
Contract: Fixed-term commission (Invitation to Tender)
Indicative supplier-facing budget: Up to £29,000 (excluding VAT), subject to the final proposed methodology and agreed scope.
Timespan is seeking an experienced web development and design team—or a collaboration between independent designers and developers—to redevelop our website and refresh our visual identity.
This is an opportunity to work with one of Scotland's leading cultural organisations as we create a digital platform that reflects our work across contemporary art, heritage, museum collections, research, learning, community programmes, our café and shop.

We're looking for a team with experience in accessible, user-centred digital design and the delivery of websites for museums, galleries, cultural organisations, heritage projects or community-focused organisations.
The commission includes:
- Discovery research and user engagement
- Information architecture and UX
- Website design and development
- Accessibility-first design (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Ecommerce, ticketing and donation functionality
- Content migration
- Visual identity redevelopment and logo refresh
- CMS training and project handover
- Launch support and post-launch maintenance period
