Tender Manager or Buyer with Tender Experience

📍 Guildford, Surrey (hybrid working)

In Avendra International we support organisations by running robust, fair and transparent supplier tender processes across complex categories and markets.

This role owns the end-to-end delivery of competitive tenders — from early requirement shaping and supplier engagement through to evaluation, award and mobilisation. It’s a hands-on role for someone who genuinely understands how tenders work in practice, not just in theory.

You’ll suit this role if you enjoy structure, governance and detail, but also know how to work commercially with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve strong, defensible outcomes.

✅ What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and delivering multiple supplier tenders and RFPs from start to finish
  • Working with clients and internal stakeholders to define scope, evaluation models and award criteria
  • Managing supplier engagement, including pre-tender briefings and clarifications
  • Coordinating tender activity through Avendra International’s online tendering platform
  • Leading bid evaluation, moderation and scoring to ensure fairness, value and risk control
  • Producing clear, well-structured evaluation and award reports for decision-makers
  • Ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and internal governance frameworks
  • Supporting supplier mobilisation, feedback and post-award activity
  • Continuously improving tender processes, templates and reporting quality

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
