About the Role
This is a strategic engineering position responsible for owning and evolving a Terraform Enterprise platform within a large-scale, highly regulated environment. You'll act as the technical authority for Terraform, driving Infrastructure as Code adoption, defining engineering standards, and enabling infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, administration, and ongoing development of a self-hosted Terraform Enterprise platform.
- Define and maintain enterprise Infrastructure as Code standards, reusable modules, and governance frameworks.
- Champion Terraform adoption and Infrastructure as Code best practices across engineering teams.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise platforms including:
- GitLab CI/CD
- Microsoft Entra ID
- CyberArk
- VMware
- Enterprise monitoring, logging, and security tooling
- Develop secure authentication, authorization, and RBAC models.
- Build and maintain private Terraform module registries.
- Drive the transition from manual infrastructure provisioning to automated, repeatable deployment processes.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the wider infrastructure function.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, cloud, and security teams on enterprise automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, including Terraform Enterprise.
- Strong background designing and implementing enterprise Infrastructure as Code platforms.
- Experience integrating Terraform with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- VMware infrastructure automation experience.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles, governance, and platform engineering.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, SAML/OIDC, and RBAC.
- Knowledge of privileged access management solutions such as CyberArk.
- Strong Linux administration and enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Experience working within large enterprise, regulated, or financial services environments.
