The Opportunity
Territory Manager – Licensed (Alcohol) Trade (Central Queensland, Australia)
Responsibilities:
- Rockhampton
- Yeppoon
- Gladstone (priority locations)
- Agnes Water
- Emerald (approx. 6 overnight stays per quarter)
Important Note: This role requires regular overnight stays. Candidates should only apply if comfortable with this commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and grow product distribution across the territory.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through cold calling and product presentations.
- Execute promotional activities and ensure compliance across all accounts.
- Manage Suntory refrigeration and assets in line with ROI guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly.
- Implement category management initiatives and maintain planogram standards.

What You Bring
We’re looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual to join our team. Key qualifications:
- Industry Experience:
- Experience in licensed (alcohol) sales, FMCG sales, or equivalent hospitality/alcohol retail trade.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and consistently hit targets.
- Results-Oriented: Self-driven with a focus on achieving goals.
- Personable Approach: Friendly, approachable, and effective with clients and colleagues.
- Relationship Builder: Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships quickly.
- Multitasker: Thrives under pressure, managing multiple priorities with strong planning skills.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication, with influence and negotiation skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using digital tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Passionate Team Player: Enthusiasm for great brands and working with exceptional people.
