Territory Manager – Trucks
Location: England (Field-Based, travel required) Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + uncapped performance bonus Reports to: Sales Team Manager
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, commercially driven Territory Manager to join a leading organisation within the industrial equipment and vehicle auction sector.
This field-based role involves identifying and securing commercial vehicle consignments while fostering long-term relationships with customers across the UK. As a key player, you’ll contribute to business growth by driving auction inventory through proactive business development and leveraging your industry network.
This is an ideal fit for a motivated sales professional with experience in construction, agriculture, transport, or commercial vehicles who excels in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure commercial vehicle consignments to maximise auction inventory before scheduled sales.
- Develop new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Manage and expand an assigned territory nationwide, identifying opportunities across the UK.
- Build strong relationships with buyers, sellers, and key industry contacts.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to optimise sales performance and spot revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from consignment to auction.
- Represent the business at auctions, industry events, and client meetings as required.
- Contribute to overall business growth by identifying market trends and new opportunities.

About You
You should be:
- A passionate vehicle or commercial transport professional with a strong commercial mindset.
- A confident negotiator and excellent relationship builder.
- Proven in new business generation and account management.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
- A clear communicator who can build trust and credibility with clients.
- Target-driven, with a proactive and entrepreneurial sales approach.

Essential Requirements
- A minimum of four years’ experience in sales, preferably within construction, agriculture, transport, or related sectors.
- A well-established network of industry contacts.
- Strong knowledge of the commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, or auction marketplace.
- Deep understanding of current market trends and industry developments.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK.
- Availability to attend auction events (including setup and sale days).
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (training provided if needed).
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary: £45,000 – £55,000
