Job summary

Working as an integral part of matrix team, the Territory Manager will be working collaboratively with marketing and the field sales teams to promote, sell and ensure the growth of On Formulary target brands across the Advanced Wound Care (AWC) areas within a designed territory.

This role will be primarily field based and required a lot of travel as per customer and/ or business needs across the Cardiff, Newport & Swansea areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of comprehensive Business Plans in order to optimise Account growth.
  • Build best in class Implementation Plans that provide excellence in execution and review at regular intervals.
  • Work closely with the local Matrix team to support Account wins and formulary pull through.
  • A consistent high performer who achieves their annual sales & market share targets for the Urgo Focus Brand Portfolio.
  • Consistent achievement of agreed KPIs and objectives including the effective use of the Urgo CRM system.
  • To have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Company products, policies and objectives.
  • To provide customers with relevant clinical and product knowledge through exceptional presentation and listening skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer relationships in order for Urgo to be seen as the ‘Partner of Choice.’
  • Expert in Challenger Selling Skills and delivery of current marketing messages and materials to promote the use of On Formulary products.
  • Proficient in all available data sources enabling highly effective planning and territory management.
  • To organise and manage customer meetings, study days and exhibitions within the territory.
  • Regularly participate in Regional and National Sales Meetings as an opportunity to share Best Practice.
  • Take ownership of own Self-Development to ensure product, clinical and therapeutic knowledge is up to date.
  • A mentor and/or buddy to other members of the sales force.
  • Expectation to deliver best in class digital and face to face presentations to customers.
  • Required to support the organisation at external national and international conferences.
  • An ambassador and role model who embodies the Urgo DNA and values

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Passion to “make a difference” to the lives of people with wounds.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships.
  • Being customer focused, confident, driven, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and interpret into strategic sales plans.
  • Demonstrable sales experience or working knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of the wound care market is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with engaging presentation skills.

Location: Cardiff, Newport & Swansea area.
