Territory Manager – Anaesthetic & Critical Care (UK North)
Our client—a leading medical and scientific distribution company focused on innovative, value-added solutions for the UK healthcare market—is seeking a Territory Manager to join their Anaesthetic & Critical Care team, covering the Northern UK territory (Leicester to Newcastle).
This is a field-based (60–75% travel) role responsible for driving sales growth, client retention, and relationship development across the region.
About the Role
The Territory Manager will:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships (existing and new) across healthcare providers
- Promote product solutions and drive sales targets through demos, trials, and consultative sales
- Work closely with internal sales teams and line managers to achieve budgeted growth
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and develop the product portfolio within the Healthcare sector, tailored to an agreed target market
- Increase sales volume by exceeding established targets and budgets
- Build deep product knowledge in terms of features, benefits, pricing, promotions, and technical demonstrations

Client & Market Engagement
- Present the product portfolio to customer groups (aligned with manager input)
- Conduct competitor analysis and regional market research
- Provide technical expertise to customers, addressing their specific needs
- Develop and maintain internal & external stakeholder relationships
- Resolve client objections and capture long-term business opportunities
Sales Reporting & Strategy
- Develop customer proposals, tenders, and quotations
- Report weekly via call logs, journey plans, and territory strategy updates
- Collaborate with leadership and sales teams on pipeline updates and activity tracking
- Identify new business opportunities and organise/lead strategic meetings
Market Penetration & Commercial Growth
- Strengthen Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and reference site networks to accelerate new product adoption
- Participate in training programmes and contribute to strategic evolution
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 1–2 years in B2B medical, pharma, tech, SaaS, or fast-paced sales roles
- Driven by performance, earnings, and career progression with a commercial mindset
- Highly motivated, confident, and persuasive with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- B2B sales experience preferred
- Strength in objection handling, rapport-building, and consultative selling
- Must be located within the Northern UK territory (Leicester–Newcastle)

Logistics & Compliance
- Full UK driving licence required
- Ability to travel 60–75% of the time within the designated region
- Willingness to adapt to flexible core hours (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) for business needs
