Territory Manager Heart Failure (South West UK)

We are seeking a passionate and driven commercial professional to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of our Heart Failure portfolio and especially the CardioMEMs expansion. The
Territory Manager is a brand new role in our Heart Failure division who will cover the South West UK.
Ideal location : near Bristol
What You’ll Do
In this field‑based role covering the South UK region, you will support Abbott’s Heart Failure portfolio, including Chronic MCS (LVAD), CardioMEMS, and short‑term MCS/ECMO. You will deliver technical, clinical, educational, and commercial support to ensure safe adoption, market growth, and strong customer engagement across implanting centres and referral networks.
Key responsibilities include :
Driving therapy and market development by supporting strategic implanting centres and educating referring physicians on LVADs, short‑term support, and CardioMEMS. Developing and delivering Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market. Managing key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams. Providing procedure support in Cath Labs and Operating Theatres. Communicating Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging. Collaborating with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives. Supporting cross‑divisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio. Delivering implant forecasting, market intelligence, and maintaining strong referral networks.

What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent or equivalent. A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices. Ability to work with others effectively. Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications. Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures. Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information. Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, Microsoft Office. This position requires a considerable amount of business travel. Professional training/education certification or designation. Field sales experience required. Clinical experience in a sales environment preferred.
