Territory Sales Manager
Field Based – Nottingham/Sheffield/Derby/Lincoln Full Time | Permanent
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will develop and drive the business strategy for PPG Trade Direct, focusing on stimulated sales, margin improvements, and market share growth. You’ll execute PPG’s sales methodology, provide market expertise, and deliver exceptional solutions across the Trade Direct sales ledger, primarily targeting Nottingham/Sheffield/Derby/Lincoln.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales of circa £6MM territory, delivering the PPG Total Coating Solutions portfolio
- Drive growth, margin, and budget delivery across Trade Direct
- Develop and implement a territory strategy to boost sales performance
- Partner with UK & Ireland support functions for cross-departmental alignment
- Ensure adherence to PPG values and delivery of the UK&I growth strategy
- Implement selling machine methodology, processes, and KPIs
- Maintain accurate customer records in Clientlink and digital platforms
- Provide accurate sales forecasting for new and existing products
- Promote PPG product offerings & promotions while adhering to pricing policies
- Represent PPG at corporate events with a strong focus on brand advocacy
- Optimise productivity, customer coverage, and service levels through effective journey planning
- Resolve customer complaints proactively and exceptionally
- Ensure customer accounts align with credit terms for sustainably robust liquidity

Candidate Profile
- Must hold a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across the UK
- Proven track record in professional sales in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- PC/laptop literate and highly numerate with a strong attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness; capable of targeting and managing sales/margin budgets
- Highly intelligent, personable, articulate, and skilled in interpersonal relationships
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive
- Proven ability to excel in cross-functional teams
- A strong team player, capable of navigating multiple challenges
