About the Role
The Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team at BD supplies essential products for injection, infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia, and closed medication management. This Territory Manager role focuses on driving growth in the South West territory by developing strategic partnerships and achieving sales targets for the Vascular Access Management (VAM) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a highly-visibility NHS healthcare role, partnering with hospital teams (such as VASTs, Infection Prevention & Control, ITU, Procurement, ED, Patient Safety, and Radiology) to shape their needs and position BD as the go-to solutions provider for vascular access solutions.
- Drive sales for the VAM portfolio, including:
- Peripheral cannulas (e.g., BD Nexiva)
- Central venous access catheters (PICCs)
- Prefilled syringes (e.g., PosiFlush)
- Skin preparation range (Vascular ChloraPrep)
- Ultrasound and ECG technology for PICC placements.
- Uncover customer needs through field-based interactions (≈90% of time) to collaborate on regional and national healthcare projects.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic account management.
- Analyse sales data, trends, and metrics to guide decision-making and develop territory-specific business strategies.
- Train and support customers in BD’s VAM product portfolio, aligning with wider BD MDS strategy.
- Collaborate with Clinical Teams to conduct product trials and accelerate in-service processes across accounts.
- Foster lack to partnership with the Regional Sales Manager, ensuring alignment with team and regional goals.
- Use BD’s CRM system (Salesforce) efficiently to manage customer data and track performance.
- Actively contribute to regional sales discussions, project leadership, and added-value service implementations.

Minimum Duties
- Travel must be 4+ days/week within the South West territory.
- Engagement in on-site collaboration established as integral to achieving regional objectives.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Extensive sales experience, especially within the NHS.
- Demonstrated track record of sustaining success in healthcare sales environments.
- NHS collaborative experience (previously clinical training is a bonus).
- Highly motivated, organised, and accountable, thriving both independently and within diverse teams.
- Customer-focused mindset, capable of building trust across multiple organisational layers (e.g., VASTs, Procurement, clinical teams).

Salary & Benefits
- Floor/ceiling salary range: £43,300.00 - £66,025.00 GBP annually.
- Competitive total rewards package, including loyalty, retention incentives, and performance-based bonuses.
