No. 1 Trade Kitchen Supplier – Territory Sales Representative
Join Howdens as a Territory Sales Representative and play a key role in growing your local customer account base. This is a field-based role, where you will be building your network, winning new business, and turning conversations into long-term trade partnerships.
Working closely with your depot colleagues, you will take ownership of growing and nurturing your local trade customer base. Building trust and turning opportunities into sales, this role offers real autonomy with a clear focus on driving sustainable growth through strong relationships and mutual support.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven success in winning new business or experience in a target-driven sales role
- Confidence in engaging trade customers from the first interaction
- A self-motivated, resilient, and driven personality
- Ability to develop expertise in joinery and hardware products/services
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence

What You Will Be Doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Winning new business through proactive outreach and converting opportunities into accounts
- Building and expanding your territory’s customer base, supporting depot performance
- Introducing new accounts to the Howdens model, clearly explaining its value
- Collaborating with depot teams to increase account spend and trade frequency
- Fostering long-term relationships with both existing and potential customers
- Managing customer enquiries professionally from first contact to resolution
- Active participation in team meetings – sharing insights, updates, and performance contributions
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity data for full visibility
- Prioritising health and safety in all work practices
