Territory Sales Representative – Join UK’s No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier

Join Howdens, the UK’s No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, in growing your local customer account base as a Field-Based Territory Sales Representative. You’ll build networks, win new business, and turn conversations into lasting trade partnerships.

Work closely with depot colleagues to take ownership of expanding and nurturing your allocated customer base. Embrace real autonomy in managing workloads while driving sustainable growth through strong relationships, teamwork, and commercial performance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Win new business by proactively approaching and converting prospects into accounts
  • Grow account spend across your territory, supporting depot performance targets
  • Introduce Howdens’ selling model to new customers, clearly articulating benefits
  • Build long-term relationships with trade customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business
  • Own customer enquiries, managing them professionally from first contact to resolution
  • Active participation in team meetings, providing insights and contributing to strategy
  • Maintain accurate data and pipeline visibility across accounts and leads
  • Adhere to Health & Safety standards, ensuring safe working practices

Key Requirements

✔ Proven success in winning new business or target-driven commercial sales roles ✔ Confident communicator who can engage trade customers and build trust instantly ✔ Self-motivated, resilient, and commercially focused with a strong drive to perform ✔ Product/service knowledge developing capacity for joinery and hardware sectors ✔ Strong organisation, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment ✔ Full UK driving licence (clean, preferably recent)
