Territory Representative
Territory Sales Representative – Join the UK’s No.1 Trade Kitchen Supplier
Join Howdens as a Territory Sales Representative and contribute to growing your local customer account base. This is a field-based role, where you’ll build your network, secure new business, and forge long-term trade partnerships by working closely with depot colleagues.
Take full ownership of your territory’s trade customer base, nurturing relationships and converting opportunities into sales. Enjoy real autonomy to manage your workload while delivering sustainable growth through strong relationships and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record of winning new business or proficiency in a sales-rich, target-driven role
- Confidence in engaging trade customers from the first interaction
- Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed
- Ability to build expertise in joinery/hardware products and services
- Strong organisation skills and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Fully held UK driving licence (mandatory)

Your Responsibilities
- Win new business proactively, converting leads into accounts
- Grow/expand customer base across your allocated territory
- Introduce new customers to the Howdens model, highlighting its strength and value
- Collaborate with depot teams to increase customer spend and engagement
- Build enduring relationships with trade customers (both new and existing)
- Manage customer enquiries effectively, from initial contact to resolution
- Participate in team meetings, sharing insights, performance updates, and ideas
- Maintain accurate data on your activity/pipeline for visibility
- Work safely and in line with Health & Safety standards
