TERRITORY SALES EXECUTIVE

Takeaway Growth Agency · Stockport / Greater Manchester · Full-time

Base £28,000-£34,000 + uncapped commission (OTE £45,000-£60,000+)

ABOUT TGA

The UK food takeaway market is worth over £20 billion a year and it is still growing. Independent takeaways are the backbone of that market, but most are underplaying their hand. They are losing thousands in commission to the delivery portals, giving away their customer data, and missing the direct revenue they could be keeping for themselves.

This is not because they are bad at what they do. It is because they do not know a better way exists. Your job is to change that.

As a Territory Sales Executive you will walk into independent takeaways, build real relationships, and show owners how Takeaway Growth Agency helps them take control of their own destiny: more direct orders, more loyal customers, more profit staying in their pocket. You are not just selling software, you are shifting the fortunes of family-run businesses in a market that is only getting bigger.

We have built a custom sales method for this exact market. It is consultative, repeatable, and designed for busy owners who have no time for fluff. You will be trained on it properly, then trusted to go out and execute it in your territory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own a territory of independent takeaways across Greater Manchester and treat it like your own patch.
  • Walk into shops cold, introduce yourself, and start genuine conversations with owners.
  • Go back, follow up, and build the trust that turns a first meeting into a signed client.
  • Show owners exactly what they are losing to the portals and what they could keep instead.
  • Run structured face-to-face meetings using our proven sales method.
  • Close deals and help onboard new clients so they see results fast.
  • Be the face of TGA in your area: professional, persistent, and genuinely helpful.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

WHY TGA

  • Uncapped earning: base £28,000-£34,000 plus uncapped commission, with a realistic OTE of £45,000-£60,000+ for a territory owner who puts the work in.
  • Genuinely meritocratic: results get noticed and rewarded, not politics. Perform and you get promoted fast, with a clear path from Sales Executive to Team Lead, Manager and beyond.
  • Impressive tech that owners get excited about: custom-branded apps, direct ordering, and marketing that drives real revenue.
  • Get in early: we are a fast-moving team scaling across the UK, and there is huge room to grow with us.
  • A mission worth getting behind: every client you sign helps a local business keep more of its own money.
  • Backed properly: full training on our sales method before you are trusted to run your patch, plus travel and expense support for your territory.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A grafter who is happy getting out there and walking into shops every day.
  • Someone who builds relationships naturally and earns trust quickly.
  • Resilience: you can hear no and still show up again tomorrow.
  • A self-starter who can manage their own diary, route, and pipeline.
  • Someone with closing ability and an instinct for getting deals over the line.
  • Real belief in the mission of helping independent takeaways take back control.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.
  • Field sales experience helps, but hunger, attitude, and work ethic matter more.

HOURS AND LOCATION

Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, based out of our Stockport office and covering Greater Manchester and neighbouring areas. Because owners are easiest to reach in the afternoons and early evenings, the working day runs a little later than a standard 9 to 5, with flexibility to work when owners are actually around. We measure results, not hours at a desk.

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You want to sell from behind a screen.
  • You give up after a few knock-backs.
  • You are only in it for a quick pay day.
  • You need to be micromanaged to stay active.

HOW TO APPLY

You will be asked to fill in our short application form. It takes just a few minutes and you'll upload your CV as part of it. We read every one properly, so a considered answer on why you want this will always beat a rushed one.
