Company Description
Contract Type: Permanent / 37.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: £37,500 plus Car and Bonus
Base Location: To cover CO and SS postodes
Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and motivated Area Sales Executive to join our high performing and busy Sales Team. The purpose of this position is to achieve the company's revenue target for new business in line with the company's strategy for customer size, type and service mix.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Establishing and converting new prospects to using the company's services
- Managing performance of new customers to ensure they trade to agreed profile and to the company's New Business KPI’s
- Handing over all new accounts to the relevant Account Managers
- Identifying, building and pursuing new business opportunities by building a good prospect funnel to work from
- To champion the “partnering process” with any new prospect
- To achieve all product targets and embrace all new products as and when launched by the company
- To strive for Elite & 100+ qualification at all times

Qualifications
About You
Your career history will clearly be able to evidence success within a sales or similar environment and a tenacious attitude and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
Your outstanding communication, persuading, and influencing skills will be fully utilised in this role as will your ability to focus on your customers to fully understand their needs and gain their commitment.
We’ll also expect you to have;
- High levels of integrity and empathy
- Ability to manage own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
- Be able to adapt own style to suit the needs of internal and external customers
- Effective problem resolution and objection handling skills
- The ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and resilient approach
- A great team player who demonstrates the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and Accountability
- A full clean driving licence is essential as is a flexible approach to travel and occasional overnight stays
