Role Overview
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and developing their own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, to capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads, and maximise the potential for growth of all Genuit Group Products to our merchant partners and Contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong trading relationships with existing customers, monitoring performance and buying behaviour.
- Maximise sales and profit by applying strong product knowledge and providing solution-based support to customers.
- Monitor market activity to anticipate challenges and opportunities within the territory.
- Grow the Genuit product portfolio within the defined region to add value for merchant partners and contractors.
- Build and manage a target list of prospects to increase market share.
- Conduct regular branch reviews with key merchant partners to develop product ranges and strengthen relationships.
- Develop and manage a healthy project pipeline, including targeting and supporting contractors, specifiers, and M&E consultants.
- Analyse customer sales data using tools such as Excel, QlikView, and databases to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, trade events, and sales collateral to support territory growth.
- Represent Genuit Group at sales meetings, training sessions, and marketing events such as trade shows.

Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in construction industry solution selling.
- Strong ability to communicate concepts, promotions, products, and services through a variety of media.
- Strong market awareness of the construction industry.
- Ability to listen and professionally resolve customer concerns.
- Eligibility to work in ROI.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage individuals at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise a wide variety of tasks.
