About the Role

Tesco is looking for passionate individuals to join our store team. If you’re at least 18 years old and thrive on variety, rewarding challenges, and helping our customers smile every day, we’d love to hear from you.

Availability Windows

Our availability window for this role allows you to work within the following times each week:

  • Sunday – 12:00 - 18:00
  • Thursday – 18:00 - 23:15
  • Saturday – 18:00 - 23:15

Your contracted hours within these timeframes will be allocated with 3 weeks' notice. If your availability isn’t exactly aligned to these slots but is very close, we’d still love to hear from you.

Core Responsibilities

Serving and Supporting Customers

  • Knowing your customers and serving them with pride, passion, and passion—every interaction should feel natural and effortless.
  • Maintaining passionate knowledge of the products and services in your store to assist customers effectively.
  • Walking the store, part of which may include core Customer Service tasks like picking, replenishment, or customer-focused activities as required.

Operational Excellence

  • Proactively practicing safety, food hygiene, and other training—always serving customers brilliantly.
  • Making customer-first decisions and ensuring store routines consistently meet service and customer needs at the right times.

A Brighter Customer Experience

  • Participating in seasonal events, community outreach, and charity initiatives to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Understanding your store’s performance and actively contributing to enhancing sales, service quality, and profit.
  • Caring for products to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in pristine condition.
