Overview
- Location: Store-based roles (store-specific dates, apply locally)
- Base Pay:
- £13.28 per hour (standard rates).
- £14.55 for stores within the M25 (London-surrounding areas).
- Additional location-based payments may apply in remote/specialized locations.
- Weekly Contract: 16 guaranteed hours minimum; (flexibility available down to 12 supervised hours).
- Candidate Profile: 18+ years old * (critical role-restricting age requirement)
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be expected to fulfill multiple roles embodying Tesco’s core values and delivering outstanding standards in service.
Customer Experience Skills

Operational Duties
- Support replenishment, picking and stock management to ensure seamless service.
- Operate across service, bakery, wines, spirits and all store customer-facing areas.
- Especially required in delivery reception during peak periods.
Team & Decision Support
- Collaborate with teams to achieve store performance metrics.
- Actively engage in finding efficiencies to drive profit, reduce waste and maintain quality.

- Undergo training to work efficiently, safely and effectively.

Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 18 years old (enforced for night/specialized shifts).
- Customer service drive—clear communication, warm engagement.
- Protocols for building rapport that ensures repeat customers.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet roster changes.

- Strong teamwork and team culture formulation.
- Well-groomed appearance and punctuality (means “ready for the role”).
