Availability Window

The following is the availability required for this role (shifts will be scheduled within these times with 3 weeks' notice):

  • Sunday: 11:00 - 20:00
  • Thursday: 09:00 - 17:00
  • Saturday: 14:30 - 23:00

Pay and Working Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts at £13.28/hour (£14.55 within the M25) with additional location-based payments possible. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though we also offer options down to 12 hours if preferred.


Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Serve customers with passion and pride, anticipating their needs with a committed smile.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about store products and services.
  • Work across multiple departments, including service, picking, and replenishment areas as needed.
  • Uphold safety and efficiency by following training and policies to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Make customer-focused decisions, maintaining routines that meet shopper needs to increase sales, reduce waste, and improve store profit.
  • Engage in community and charity events, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Handle products with care and quality standards in mind.
  • Live the Tesco values—be an honest and welcoming representative of our brand.
  • Assist with storeroom deliveries when required.
