Tesco Colleague - Bognor Regis Nyetimber Express

About the Role

Availability Window

We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be:

  • Sunday

    • From 17:00
    • To 23:00
  • Wednesday

    • From 16:00
    • To 23:00
  • Saturday

    • From 18:00
    • To 23:00

We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to have you apply.


Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour (increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25). Additional payments may also apply depending on location. Our policy is to offer new colleagues:

  • Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week
  • Opportunities for fewer hours (to a minimum of 12 hours)

About the Role

Customers are at the heart of everything we do in one of our Tesco stores. This is a dynamic role with variety, challenges, and opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service: Passionate dedication to serving customers with pride and confidence.
  • Product & service expertise: Become highly knowledgeable about store products and services.
  • Multitet tasking: Work across areas like service, picking, and replenishment as needed.
  • Training & safety: Put essential training into practice to ensure safe, effective operations.
  • Customer-focused decisions: Make decisions that meet shopper needs and enhance shopping experiences.
  • Engage with events: Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events for inclusivity and engagement.
  • Store performance: Understand your role in driving service, sales, and profit while monitoring performance.
  • Product care: Handle items with precision to ensure quality and condition for customers.
  • Embody values: Bring yourself to work in alignment with Tesco’s policies, fostering welcome and inclusivity.
  • Delivery support: Possibly manage deliveries into the store when required.
