Availability Window
We offer flexibility, but here are the times we would like you to be available:
- Sun: 11:00 - 17:00
- Sat: 11:00 - 17:00
- Fri: 11:00 - 17:00
You will be scheduled within these windows, with 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We can also consider requests where availability is very close—just ensure it fits your minimum guaranteed hours of 12 (or at least 16 hours per week).
Our Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28/hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional location-based payments may apply.

What You Will Do
As a Tesco Retail Team Member, you’ll play a key role in shaping our stores and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include:
- Serving customers with enthusiasm—offering natural, carefree friendly service with pride.
- Knowing our products inside-out—whether it’s fresh food, our own-brand products (Tesco SHARE and F&B), or our innovative services.
- Supporting across the store—helping with service areas, picking, replenishing, quality checks, and continuous store improvement.
- Following training safely & effectively, ensuring smooth operations every day.
- Driving store performance—helping reduce waste, improve sales, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handling deliveries or participating in seasonal events, including charity community work.
- Representing our values—treating colleagues and customers with kindness and respect, mirroring our brand promise.
