About the Role
Availability Window
We require colleagues to be available during the following times, giving 3 weeks' notice for shift scheduling. Flexibility close to these windows will be considered:

Pay
This role offers;
- Starting wage: £13.28 per hour (£14.55 within the M25).
- Additional payments depending on location.
- Guaranteed minimum 16 hours per week, with flexible options available (minimum 12 hours).

Responsibilities
You will:
- Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, ensuring a natural, warm shopping experience.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the store’s products and services.
- Work across the store, assisting in various areas including service desks, picking, and replenishment.
- Apply training safely and effectively to ensure smooth operations and outstanding customer service.
- Make customer-focused decisions, maintaining routines that meet shopper needs efficiently.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand your store’s performance and play a key role in driving service improvements, reducing waste, and boosting profitability.
- Handle products with care, ensuring they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live Tesco’s values and policies, following guidelines to maintain a friendly and welcoming environment.
- At times, accept product deliveries into the store.
