Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay is £13.28 per hour. Additional payments may also apply, depending on location and skills.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, though opportunities are available for 12 hours per week if you prefer. The table above shows our desired availability windows. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice for your shift times. Flexibility is key, so if you’re close but not exactly aligned with the advertised hours, we’d still love to speak to you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Know your customers inside out and deliver passionate, pride-driven service.
  • Passionately champion the products and services within your store.
  • Support across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas as needed.
  • Put your received training into practice to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer excellence.
  • Make customer-focused decisions and drive routines that meet consumer needs.
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, promoting an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand your store’s performance and contribute to service, sales, cost reduction, and profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality.
  • Be authentic, embody our values, and follow policies to ensure everyone feels welcome.
  • Accept deliveries when required.
