Availability for this role is specially listed in the table below, but we’ll support slight variations where possible.

Policies:
- We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed weekly hours for new colleagues, with options for part-time shifts (minimum 12 hours).
- You’ll receive 3 weeks’ notice for your shift schedule.

Pay & Contract
- Base pay starts at £13.28/hour (payable £14.55/hour for stores within the M25).
- Additional payments may apply based on location.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be making a real difference in your store by:
- Serving customers with passion—providing a world-class, natural shopping experience.
- Offering expert product knowledge to recommend Tesco’s best offerings.
- Working across multiple areas of the store, including:
- Picking and replenishing stock when needed.
- Supporting customers in serving areas, ensuring high standards.
- Following training and policies to create a safe, exciting, and customer-focused environment.
- Making customer-first decisions, including handling complaints and seasonal promotions.
- Participating in in-store events, charity work, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understanding and improving store performance, reducing waste, and driving sales.
- Maintaining product quality by handling goods carefully.
- Demonstrating our Tesco values—being professional, welcoming, and helpful.
- Occasionally receiving deliveries into the store.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
- Have a genuine love for customer service and a strong service mentality.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with customers and leaving them with a smile.
- Be proactive, great at making quick decisions to assist customers.
- Work well within a team environment, sharing information openly and building great working relationships.
- Present yourself neatly and on time, representative of how you’d like customers to see the UK’s favourite supermarket.
- Be available within the specified scheduling windows (but flexibility is encouraged for close matches).
