Availability Window
We’re scheduling shifts within the following timeframes. Ideally, you should be available between these times, though flexibility is acknowledged where possible.

Shifts Details: We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week for new colleagues. If you prefer fewer hours (down to a minimum of 12), we’d still like to hear from you.
You’ll receive 3 weeks' notice before your shifts are confirmed. If your available hours match closely but not exactly, we’ll consider you for the role.
Pay & Conditions
- Starting pay: £13.28/hour (or £14.55/hour if within the M25) (Additional location-based payments may apply.)
Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital role in enhancing the Tesco customer experience:
- Serve customers with natural, passionate service—know your products, greeten them with a smile, and give exceptional natural service
- Work across the store, including picking, replenishing, and customer-facing roles
- Apply training effectively to ensure safe, high-quality routines in every area of the store
- Resolve issues using common sense—think about what’s best for customers and the team
- Participate in seasonal events, charities, and community drives to create a positive shopping experience
- Contribute to sales, service improvement, and reducing waste by understanding your store’s performance goals
- Handle products carefully to maintain their quality and preserve the brand’s integrity
- Live Tesco’s values—be authentic, inclusive, and welcoming while adhering to our policies
- Occasionally assist with deliveries into the store

Requirements
You must be:
- Passionate about customer service—your attitude and smile make a difference!
- Good at building rapport—leaving customers with a memorable experience
- Anable to make proactive decisions to enhance the shopping journey
- Skilled in teamwork, communication, and fostering a positive work environment
- Reliable in appearance and punctual—you’re the face of our brand
- At least over 16 years old (only roles involving early starts/late finishes, warehousing, or deliveries require you to be 18+)
