Collective Front Store Associate
About the Role
Tesco is always looking for passionate individuals who are ready to serve our customers brilliantly. Our stores operate from Monday to Saturday, with the following availability windows:
- Monday - Saturday
- From: 16:00
- To: 22:00
We offer a competitive Tesco Colleague rate, starting from £13.28/hour (increasing to £14.55/hour for stores within the M25). Additional location-based payments may apply, along with a minimum guarantee of 16 hours per week (flexibility down to 12 hours is available for those wanting fewer hours).
We provide 3 weeks' notice for shift scheduling to support flexibility. Applicants whose availability closely aligns with ours will be considered even if not perfectly matching.

Responsibilities
As a collective Front Store Associate, you will:
- Serve our customers with passion and pride by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Be passionate about and knowledgeable of the products and services available in your store.
- Work across the store, including assistant duties, picking, and stock replenishment according to store needs.
- Apply your training to ensure safe, efficient store operations and outstanding customer experience.
- Make customer-focused decisions, optimising routines to meet shopper demand – ensuring timeliness in ground, sales, and sustainability initiatives like waste reduction and profit growth.
- Represent Tesco in seasonal, community, and charity events with an inclusive and welcoming spirit.
- Have a clear understanding of store performance, contributing collectively to objectives related to service quality, sales, and efficiency.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Embody our values and policies, being yourself and ensuring an inclusive environment for all customers and colleagues.
- Occasionally assist with product deliveries to/from the store.
