About the Role Welcome to Tesco! We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Store Colleagues. Here’s what this role entails:

- We guarantee 3 weeks’ notice for scheduled shifts.
- You’ll be paid our Colleague rate starting at £13.28/hour (up to £14.55/hour if the store is within the M25).
- Minimum contractual hours: 16 hours/week, though we can discuss working fewer hours (minimum 12) if suitable. Read more flexibility.

Responsibilities ✓
You’ll:
- Energise the customer experience, from frontline support to product service brilliance—be the smile that greets every guest.
- Generalise across tasks, including customer service points, stock replenishment, and operational duties.
- Live up to your training: safety, quality standards, and customer service are non-negotiable.
- Act with authority: make just decisions that set your customer up for success.
- Engage with communities at seasonal, charity, and local events—hosting an inclusive, delighted atmosphere wherever you go.
- Empower the team spirit: team success is your success; cherish your mutant team members and celebrate every win.
- Take ownership of store performance: understand store service standards, sales metrics, and operational highlights—and help achieve them daily.
