Your pay starts at £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on your location.
As a Tesco Colleague, you'll have a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. We accommodate part-time work down to a minimum of 12 hours if you prefer a more flexible schedule.
We’ll schedule your shifts within these availability windows and provide 3 weeks' notice of your shifts.
Flexibility is encouraged, so if your availability closely matches these times, we’d still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers with passion and pride, giving them a natural and brilliant experience.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about store products and services.
- Work across different sections like service and stock replenishment areas as needed.
- Apply store training and policies to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Make sound, customer-focused decisions and meet operational routines effectively.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, reinforcing our inclusive atmosphere.
- Monitor store performance, understand your role, and support team efforts to improve service, sales, waste reduction, shrink, and profit.
- Handle products with care to ensure quality for customers.
- Embrace Tesco’s values by being yourself, welcoming everyone and complying with store policies.
- Assist in product deliveries as required.

- A passion for great service, with a smile for every customer.
- Strong communication skills to build customer rapport and enhance their shopping experience.
- Proven ability to take initiative and make beneficial customer decisions.
- Good teamwork and open communication within the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, create team spirit, and celebrate success together.
