We will schedule your shifts within these times with 3 weeks’ notice.
Pay Rates:
- £13.28 per hour starts our Tesco Colleague rate, excluding stores within the M25.
- £14.55 per hour for stores within the M25.
- Additional payments may apply based on location.
Contract Hours: Offering a minimum of 16 hours per week – flexible down to 12 hours if preferred.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride, providing great natural service.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services in your store.
- Working across the store including service areas, picking, and replenishment as required.
- Applying training received to ensure safe, effective operations that serve our customers brilliantly.
- Making the right customer-focused decisions to meet the needs of our shoppers at the right time.
- Participating in seasonal/community/charity events and helping create an incluous atmosphere.
- Understanding your store’s performance and contributing to driving service, sales, waste reduction, shrinkage, and profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Being yourself, indicating our values, making everyone feel welcome, and adhering to Tesco policies.
- Sometimes, you may be required to assist with deliveries.
