Customer Service Associate
About the Role
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, but also accommodate roles with a minimum of 12 hours if preferred. Below is your availability window across the week:

We will schedule your contracted hours within these windows, and you'll have 3 weeks’ notice for your scheduled shifts. We support flexibility, so even if your availability is close to but not directly matching these times, your application is welcome.

Responsibilities
You will handle a variety of crucial tasks, including:
- Serving customers with passion and pride, delivering natural and exceptional service.
- Ensuring product knowledge and outstanding understanding of store offerings.
- Supporting across store service, picking, and replenishment areas as needs require.
- Implementing training effectively to operate safely, efficiently, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Making timely, customer-focused decisions and executing routines that improve customer experience.
- Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Tracking and reporting store performance, understanding your role in improving service, sales, reducing waste, and driving profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in prime condition.
- Being yourself, embodying Tesco values, and always following store policies to create a welcoming atmosphere.
