Tesco Colleague - Inverness Inshs Extra

Customer Service Team Member (Store)

About the Role

Our Tesco Colleague role pays from £13.28/hour (£14.55 for stores within the M25) with potential additional location-based payments. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed weekly hours (flexible to as few as 12), with 3 weeks’ notice for your shifts.

You’ll be at the heart of our store, delivering exceptional service daily while balancing variety, challenges, and a supportive team environment that values diversity and inclusion.


Responsibilities

  • Serving customers with passion: Know your customers intimately and provide natural, passionate service with pride.
  • Product expertise: Be passionate and knowledgeable about store products/services.
  • Versatile operations: Assist across service, picking, and replenishment, put training into daily practice.
  • Decision-making: Directly impact customer experiences, meet store routines, and maintain nightly optimisations (e.g., stocking, shrink reduction).
  • Community engagement: Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to enhance inclusivity and team spirit.
  • Performance insight: Understand store metrics, team roles, and financial performance, working towards profitability, quality, and waste reduction.
  • Product care: Handle products with diligence to ensure quality and timeliness for customers.
  • Uphold values: Represent Tesco values, ensure inclusivity, and comply with company policies.
  • Specific tasks: Accept deliveries (when required).
