Frontline Sales Team Member
About the Role
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Tesco team as Frontline Sales Members, ensuring exceptional service in our stores while reflecting our core values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Our Tesco Colleague pay rate starts at £13.28/hour, which increases to £14.55/hour for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply based on location. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though flexibility is available for those seeking fewer hours (minimum 12).

Note: We will schedule your shifts within these times and provide 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We welcome slight flexibility if your availability aligns closely with these windows.

What You’ll Do
- Know your customers: Deliver passionate service with a smile, ensuring every shopping experience is great.
- Product mastery: Be knowledgeable about Tesco’s products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Store-wide contribution: Assist in service, picking, and replenishment tasks as required.
- Safety & compliance: Apply training to ensure safety, efficiency, and outstanding customer service.
- Customer-centric decisions: Make proactive choices to meet customer needs and drive store routines.
- Community engagement: Participate in seasonal, charitable events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Performance awareness: Understand your store’s performance goals in sales, service, waste reduction, and shrink management.
- Product care: Handle goods with precision to maintain quality and meet customer expectations.
- Authentic representation: Live our values, embody inclusivity, and follow policies with pride.
- Delivery support: Occasionally assist with store deliveries
