Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 per hour (increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25). Depending on location, additional payments may also apply.
We guarantee 16 hours per week for new colleagues, but flexible working opportunities (minimum 12 hours) are available. We schedule shifts within these availability windows, ensuring 3 weeks' notice for your shifts.
If your availability closely matches but is not identical to the advertised times, we would still welcome your application.

Responsibilities
You will:
- Deliver exceptional service with pride, ensuring customers leave feeling valued
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about Tesco products and services
- Work cross-team in service, picking and replenishment roles
- Apply training and policies to ensure safety, efficiency, and customer focus
- Make timely, customer-centric decisions to meet routines and standards
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events for a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor your store’s performance, align daily tasks with service, sales, and sustainability goals
- Handle customer products with care to ensure quality and condition
- Live our values, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

Essential:
- Passion for delivering friendly, professional service with pride
